QUINTA DA RAZA, WITH AROUND 50 HECTARES OF VINEYARDS, IS LOCATED IN PENEIREIROS, IN THE SUB-REGION OF BASTO (DOC), IN THE HEART OF THE VINHO VERDE DEMARCATED REGION.
FAMILY HISTORY
The Quinta da Raza has survived four centuries to the present day,
always in the Teixeira Coelho family, and is now in the hands of Diogo
Teixeira Coelho, the 5th generation. The enthusiasm and dedication for
the vineyard and wine have fermented passion and enthusiasm over time
OUR VINEYARDS
Have you ever pondered how different life would be if you were born
elsewhere? What about your character? Temperament? The same holds true
for wines fortunate enough to “grow up” at Quinta da Raza. They are born
from the harmony that exists between the granitic soil, areas with
clay-schist composition, grape varieties from the Vinhos Verdes region,
the gentle slopes surrounding us, the Tâmega River flowing through the
region, and a splendid exposure to sunlight.
